Participants will dig deeper with evaluation tools & utilize the resulting data to guide sustained implementation of a School-Wide Positive Behavioral Interventions & Supports system within their schools. Participants will engage with learning connected to various areas of SW-PBIS: theoretical base, use of behavioral & implementation fidelity data, teaching expectations and social-emotional behavioral skills and strategies, providing effective feedback, analyzing data for decision-making and application of additional essential components for sustaining an effective SW-PBIS system. In addition, connections to social-emotional needs, trauma-informed, mental health and brain science will be made. The focus of all activities will be on collaborative efforts, including students and parents. These efforts are key to improving school climate, the behavior of those students who require targeted support or more specific behavior education planning, the behavior of that small minority of students who have been traditionally labeled "behavior disordered," and providing the needed support to improve adult implementation of the system. A team process will be used by the schools'' PBIS Leadership Teams to develop and effectively implement problem solving and decision making processes for the development of school-wide interventions and systems for re-teaching and supporting engagement in school-wide social-emotional-behavior expectations.
