In the Preschool Foundations course, Jennifer Grisham, a nationally recognized expert and author in the Early Childhood field, will provide participants with connections between the essential elements in high-quality preschool in Iowa, providing a high-quality universal tier in preschool programs.  Jennifer will show how to involve families in preschool programs, use initial assessment information to create a quality environment, create a sense of belonging for all children and use the assess-plan-teach cycle to positively impact outcomes for young children.
