This course provides educators with an overview of specially designed instruction (SDI) and the connection to the SDI framework and critical features. It is designed to provide participants with a basic understanding of how to utilize the SDI framework and explore how SDI drives instructional planning, service delivery, and progress monitoring while aligning with students'' individualized goals. This course will also provide learning around designing effective transition supports in the areas of living, learning, and working beyond the classroom.
Participation as a school or district team is encouraged to promote collaborative learning and strengthen implementation of practices across settings.
