PL - Enhancing Relationships with Tier 2 SEBH Interventions - Day 1
Pocahontas PLAEA June 25 2026

Build Tier 2 systems for SEBH with data-driven strategies! Participants will learn about systems for adult behavior and implement evidence-based practices for at-risk students. Opportunities will be provided to develop data-driven decision rules to identify students who need Tier 2 interventions and, once students are receiving the intervention, to determine whether they are responding to it. A menu of evidence-based interventions with the necessary critical features will be provided, including Check-in-Check-out (CICO), Check-in/Check-out with Modified Features (CICO-WMF), Social-Academic Instructional Groups (SAIG), and Check & Connect. Teams will learn how to assess fidelity and outcome data and to write action plans based on their data through the continuous improvement process. This course will help teams develop systems and structures for implementing Tier 2 interventions for SEBH most efficiently and effectively, including ensuring that Tier 1 Supports are in place
