This one-day workshop for school administrators will explore the five key duties of General Supervision in Special Education:  Prevent, Inform, Detect, Inspect, and Correct, based on the Iowa Department of Education’s General Supervision Quick Reference.  Participants will learn how these district and AEA responsibilities ensure compliance with the IDEA and maintain effective systems of support.  Real-world examples and resources will illustrate how building administrators can apply these duties in their daily practice.
