This course is only available to individuals who pre-registered for the Master Conservationist
Program through the Iowa State University Extension and Outreach Office.
When registering for license renewal credit here on the AEA Professional Learning Registration
System, please be sure to select the section that coincides with the county office where you
registered for the training.
The Master Conservationist Program is a collaborative program offered by ISU Extension and
Outreach, County Conservation Boards, and local conservation leaders and professionals. The
intensive curriculum is developed to equip Iowans interested in natural resource conservation
with the knowledge and skills necessary to make informed decisions about natural resources and to
become local leaders and educators. Master Conservationists are individuals that share an interest
in the sustainability of Iowa''s natural resources and in becoming better stewards of
those resources.
There are a total of 7 in-person sessions that will occur weekly, beginning on May 6th and ending on June 17. The first session will be at Matt Cosgrove River''s Edge Discovery Center, 20 N 1st St. Fort Dodge, IA 50501. Other in-person sessions will occur across the region at natural areas.
